Forklift-mast steel, not bent sheet metal

Mohawk builds the A-7 like a forklift mast — heavy plate columns, steel bearings, and hydraulics that never need adjustment.

A-7 heavy plate steel column construction

¾" plate-steel columns

Columns made from ¾" thick forklift mast steel, with each carriage riding on eight double-sealed, self-lubricating steel ball-bearing rollers — no plastic slide blocks, no greasing, no wear-out.

A-7 stainless overhead hydraulic lines

Hydraulic sync — no cables

Patented hydraulic synchronization moves fluid between the twin 4" cylinders through stainless steel lines — no equalizer chains or cables to stretch, fray, or adjust. Lines mount overhead at any height or route in-floor.

A-7 all-position mechanical safety locks

All-position mechanical locks

Locks engage every 3" starting just 5" off the ground, backed by velocity-fuse valving, pressure-compensated flow control, and automatic swing-arm restraints.

Mohawk's Extended Lifetime Cylinder Seal Warranty supplies the seals themselves to the original purchaser only — it does not cover the rebuild labour, which is work we do in-house.

Will it fit your shop?

Three measurements decide it. Grab a tape measure — or send us these numbers and we'll confirm it fits your bay.

7' 11½"
Column height

The shortest columns in Mohawk's two-post line — the A-7 tucks into home garages and low-ceiling bays where taller lifts won't.

11' 7"
Overall width

Column-to-column footprint. Plan roughly a 12-foot bay so doors swing comfortably on both sides.

4½"
Concrete floor

4,000 psi mix at 4½" minimum — the fourteen ¾" anchor bolts are included.

Where we come in on a A-7

Wherever you buy it, this is the part we handle — anywhere in Florida.

Repair and parts

Authorized Mohawk service provider — cylinders, cables, locks, power units, and controls. We rebuild hydraulic cylinders in-house in Micanopy, so a discontinued part is not the end of the lift.

ALI-certified inspection

Annual inspection by ALI Certified Lift Inspectors with the serialized sticker and the paperwork — logged in our FieldSvc platform so the history is there when you need it.

Installation and relocation

New delivery, added bay, or a move across town — we set, anchor, and load-test Mohawk lifts to spec and commission them properly, whoever you bought them from.
